A power couple impacting lives by demonstrating love and truth through Biblical principles, Pastors Todd and Ingrid Pickett are the leaders of Heart of God International Church (HOGIC), located in Alexandria, Virginia.
The Pastors
Pastors Todd and Ingrid are visionaries growing an international church of people with a heart for God, who live by the most important command, which is to love. They are teaching people how to live God’s truth in a secular world; positioned to meet people at their point of need in their Christian walk and poised to take “Church” to the next level. Real raw and right on time, they ain’t your grandma’s preachers - they have no time for pretenses and Sunday rituals - they’re too busy on the frontline saving lost souls, setting captives free and teaching people how to live victoriously.
The Partners
Todd and Ingrid met in church 23+ years ago, and 11 months later were married. Experienced in married life, they are well qualified to coach and counsel married couples and couples considering marriage. They’re passionate mentors who teach modern day truth-based coping skills, helping people deal with the realities of married life and singleness. They enjoy sharing their expertise with couples and single folks who desire a lifetime love.
The Parents
Dedicated loving parents, the Pastors are incredibly proud of their children, Darrian Nicole Pickett and Todd Darren “Bubba” Pickett. They raise their children the same way they live their lives - through Biblical truth, demonstrative love, support and encouragement. This is evidenced in the open relationship they share with their children and through the accomplishments of both Darrian and Bubba.
The Power
Both Pastors Todd and Ingrid are deeply rooted in the word of God. They are anointed and empowered by the Holy Spirit and are tellers of the truth; the whole truth according to the word of God.
Pastor Todd graduated, and Pastor Ingrid attended World Missions Ministries Bible College in Clinton, MD. Loved by a host of friends, family members and the community, they are allowing God to use them. They’re sensitive to God’s voice and committed to great works through Christ Jesus.
